Jim Wade, Ph.D.
Jim serves as Chief Operating Officer for Citrus Springs. Jim came to Citrus Springs after his tenure at Dr. Pepper / Seven-Up Company, where he began as a Senior Research Chemist working on New Product Developments and Analytical Methods Developments, and then advanced within the company to hold the position of Vice President of R&D, Quality Assurance, Field Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Packaging Departments.
Jim left Dr. Pepper / Seven-Up after serving as the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations Departments, and joined Citrus Springs as Chief Operating Officer in 1996. Jim is considered a Food Science “guru”, having held memberships in the Institute of Food Technologists, American Chemical Society, and American Water Works Association. He also has served on the Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Committee for the National Soft Drink Association, the Board of Directors of the International Society of Beverage Technologists, and on the Curriculum Advisory Board of the University of Missouri St. Louis Chemistry Department.
Jim holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.
